The Philips External Manikin Adapter is a reusable attachment that sticks over Manikin skin and is intended for use on CPR/AED Manikins. Once the strip is placed on the Manikin, the Philips OnSite or FRx unit can recognize when the pads have been placed, and can continue past the voice prompt, “Apply pads to patient.” Without this strip, the pads will not be recognized and the voice prompt will repeat itself.
