HeartCode Skills Sessions in Miami

If you have completed an AHA HeartCode® online course, the card is not issued until you pass a hands-on skills session with a live AHA instructor. PulseStart runs those sessions in Miami — at our Doral location or at your facility — for $110 for ACLS and PALS.

That is the half most people underestimate. The online course is knowledge; the skills session is the part that actually produces an AHA card.

How it works

1. Buy and complete the HeartCode® course on the AHA website — HeartCode ACLS or HeartCode PALS, currently $173, purchased separately from the AHA.
2. Email your completion certificate to Sales@pulsestartnow.com.
3. Attend your scheduled skills session with a PulseStart AHA instructor.
4. Demonstrate the skills and receive your AHA Provider eCard, valid two years.

Do not complete the online portion and then sit on it — AHA completion certificates carry an expiry window, so book the session while the certificate is fresh.

Completed HeartCode somewhere else?

If your employer, school or another program paid for your HeartCode license, email the completion certificate to Sales@pulsestartnow.com and we will confirm before you book.

What the session tests

ACLS: prioritizing chest compressions and integrating advanced interventions, airway management, rhythm recognition and the ACLS algorithms, pharmacology, and team dynamics as both member and leader.

PALS: pediatric assessment and early recognition of respiratory distress and shock, high-quality pediatric CPR, the PALS algorithms, vascular access and pharmacology, and resuscitation team dynamics on infant and child manikins.

Bring your certificate, photo ID and clothes you can kneel in. We supply manikins, AED trainers, bag-mask devices and AHA materials.

A note on BLS

Our BLS course is taught entirely in person for $100 — there is no online portion to buy and no separate skills session to schedule. If BLS is what you need, that is simpler and usually cheaper than the blended route.
