PulseStart brings American Heart Association CPR, AED, First Aid and BLS certification to your workplace anywhere in Miami-Dade and South Florida. We are a firefighter- and paramedic-owned American Heart Association Training Site based in Doral, and every instructor is a working Miami or Miami-Dade firefighter paramedic. Your team trains in your own break room, roll-call room or banquet hall, and everyone who passes walks out with a same-day AHA eCard.

Heartsaver CPR/AED — adult, child and infant CPR plus AED use, for employees who are not healthcare providers. The standard pick for hotel front desks, security officers, church volunteers and office safety teams. See our CPR & AED certification course.

BLS Provider — the healthcare course: team dynamics, high-quality compressions, bag-mask ventilation and multi-rescuer resuscitation. For clinical staff and any contract naming “BLS for Healthcare Providers.” On-site BLS runs two to three hours. See BLS certification in Miami.

We train the workplaces that actually call us. Each of these groups faces a different set of emergencies, so the course, the group size and the time of day change with the industry.
Teachers, coaches, front-office staff and athletic trainers. We train on a planning day or after dismissal, and cover child and infant CPR alongside adult.
Trainers, front-desk staff and group-fitness instructors. Exertion plus an older membership is where sudden cardiac arrest shows up, and your staff own the first four minutes.
Dentists, hygienists and assistants. Clinical staff take BLS Provider; we certify the whole practice in one closed morning so nobody loses a full day of chair time.
Caregivers, med techs and activities staff, trained on the emergencies they actually see in an older population: choking, falls, bleeding and cardiac arrest.
Physicians, nurses, medical assistants and front desk. BLS Provider for clinical staff, Heartsaver CPR/AED for everyone else, taught in your own clinic between patient blocks.
29 CFR 1926.50(c) requires a trained first-aid provider on site when no clinic or hospital is reasonably accessible. We train crews of 10 to 20 in the trailer at 6 a.m., before the pour.
Your officer is often the only person on the property overnight and the first one to reach the patient. We run back-to-back short sessions so you can rotate officers off post without dropping coverage.
Officers arrive before fire-rescue on a large share of calls. We teach AED deployment under time pressure and a clean handoff to arriving medics, at shift change, across every platoon.
Ushers, greeters, security and children’s ministry. An AED in the lobby that nobody is trained to grab is a decoration. Volunteer groups of 12 to 25, Sunday afternoon or a weeknight.
Front desk, security, housekeeping supervisors, banquet, engineering and pool staff. Turnover is high, so we run AM, PM and overnight sessions in one day in a meeting room.

There’s no strict limit. We train groups of every size, from a handful of staff to large teams across multiple sessions. For the best hands-on experience we keep instructor-to-student ratios low, so for larger groups we may bring additional instructors or split your team into back-to-back sessions on the same day.
Yes — on-site training is our specialty. We bring all manikins, AED trainers, and course materials directly to your Miami workplace, school, clinic, or gym. You provide a room with space to practice on the floor, and we handle the rest.
Yes. We teach American Heart Association courses, and students who successfully complete a course receive an official AHA certification eCard. AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS cards are accepted by hospitals, healthcare employers, and licensing boards nationwide.

It depends on the course. A CPR & First Aid or AED session typically runs 2–3 hours. BLS, ACLS, and PALS can be completed faster using HeartCode blended learning, where students finish the online portion in advance and attend a short in-person skills session — often 30–45 minutes per student.
