If you live or work in Doral, you do not have to leave the city for an American Heart Association Training Site — it’s inside the city, at 3399 NW 72nd Avenue, Suite 208-B, in a medical and professional office building in Doral’s Airport West corridor, about half a mile south of NW 33rd Street. PulseStart teaches AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPR/AED, and First Aid courses here every week, and most students leave the same day with their certification eCard already issued. No trip to the Health District, no all-day seminar — a 2-to-3-hour class (or a short skills check if you finish HeartCode online first), taught by instructors who work as active South Florida firefighters and paramedics.
Every course below is taught in person at the Doral training location, with group bookings and on-site delivery available for Doral employers who’d rather we come to them.
Certifying a group instead of one or two people? See on-site corporate training for quoted group rates.
Doral’s daytime population skews corporate and industrial, and class rosters reflect it. We regularly certify staff from the medical and dental offices along NW 72nd and NW 87th Avenue; warehouse, freight-forwarding, and import/export crews working the cargo district near Miami International Airport; and office employees from Downtown Doral, a concentration of Class A office space in a city that hosts many corporate headquarters and multinational offices, Carnival Corporation among them. We also certify teachers and aides from the Doral Academy charter school network and other schools in the city, hospitality staff from Trump National Doral and area hotels, and parents and nannies across Doral’s residential neighborhoods who want a CPR card on file for a school or daycare requirement.
From Downtown Doral or CityPlace Doral, the training location is roughly 4 to 5 miles east — typically NW 41st Street or NW 36th Street to NW 72nd Avenue, then south to NW 33rd Street, about 10 to 15 minutes outside rush hour. From the Doral Academy campuses and the Trump National Doral area near NW 97th to 112th Avenue, plan closer to 15 to 20 minutes via NW 25th Street.
If getting a whole team to us isn’t practical, we’ll come to you instead. On-site training is available across Miami-Dade, Doral included — PulseStart brings instructors, manikins, and AED trainers directly to businesses, schools, and healthcare facilities. See corporate and on-site training.
Our Doral location runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Saturday sessions by appointment, and on-site group training can be scheduled around your own shifts. ACLS and PALS use the blended HeartCode format, so the online cognitive portion is finished before the hands-on skills session. Students who pass skills testing walk out with an official AHA certification eCard the same day — accepted by hospitals, healthcare employers, and licensing boards nationwide.
Is the Doral training location open to the public, or only for hospital staff? Open to everyone. Healthcare providers make up a large share of our BLS, ACLS, and PALS classes, but teachers, coaches, warehouse staff, parents, and anyone who wants a CPR or First Aid card train in the same classroom.
How far is it from Downtown Doral and CityPlace Doral? About 4 to 5 miles, roughly 10 to 15 minutes by car outside peak traffic — east on NW 41st or NW 36th Street to NW 72nd Avenue, then south to NW 33rd Street.
Can my Doral company book an on-site class instead? Yes. On-site training is available across Miami-Dade, and Doral employers can request a quote for group certification delivered at their own location. See corporate training.
Do you train staff for Doral Academy or other local schools? Yes — we regularly certify teachers, aides, and front-office staff at charter and private schools throughout Doral in CPR, First Aid, and AED use.
ACLS and PALS are HeartCode® blended courses: the AHA online portion is purchased separately from the American Heart Association (currently $173) and completed before the in-person skills session. See the healthcare certification hub for the full breakdown.
