PALS Renewal in Miami

PulseStart renews your AHA PALS certification in Miami through the HeartCode® PALS blended learning route. There are two parts, and it is worth understanding the cost before you book:

• AHA HeartCode® PALS online course — $173, purchased separately from the American Heart Association at shopcpr.heart.org. This is an AHA charge, not ours.
• PulseStart in-person skills session — $110, with one of our AHA instructors, at our Doral location or at your facility.

A lot of sites quote you one number. We would rather you see both, because the AHA online course is mandatory and you cannot sit the skills session without it.

How the renewal works, step by step

1. Buy and complete the HeartCode® PALS online course through the AHA website. It uses eSimulations, animations and self-directed activities, and you do it at home at your own pace.
2. Email your completion certificate to Sales@pulsestartnow.com.
3. Attend your scheduled in-person skills session with a PulseStart instructor.
4. Pass the skills evaluation and receive your AHA PALS Provider eCard, valid two years.

If your employer has already bought you a HeartCode license, you have effectively already paid the $173 half — bring the certificate and book the skills session only.

Who renews PALS with us

Nurses, paramedics, physicians and clinical staff who treat infants and children — pediatric units, emergency departments, urgent care, pediatric offices and transport teams.

What the skills session tests

Pediatric assessment and recognition of respiratory distress and shock before arrest, high-quality pediatric CPR, rhythm recognition and the PALS algorithms, vascular access and pharmacology, and resuscitation team dynamics.

The session is hands-on in front of a live instructor, which is the part no online course can replace and the reason a “100% online PALS card” is not an AHA card.

Initial certification and renewal are the same course

Our PALS course covers both initial certification and renewal — it is the same HeartCode blended program either way. If your card has already lapsed, book the same course and tell us when you book so your paperwork is right.

Renewing a team

What does PALS renewal cost in Miami?

Can I do PALS entirely in person?
Our PALS is offered as HeartCode blended learning, so the online portion is required before the skills session. If you need an entirely in-person course with no online prerequisite, that is our BLS renewal in Miami.

My PALS card already expired.
Book the same course and tell us at booking. Some employers document a lapse, so flag it with your compliance office too.

Do you accept a HeartCode certificate I completed elsewhere?
Email it to Sales@pulsestartnow.com before your session and we will confirm before you book.
